19691969 Pori Finnish Air Force UFO sightingOn 12 April 1969, Finnish Air Force personnel at Pori Airport reportedly saw seven yellowish, round objects while two Fouga Magister trainers were operating. Jouko Kuronen later said he observed from a taxiing aircraft on the runway; Tarmo Tukeva was already airborne and was directed toward the objects. Yle preserves Kuronen's 1982 retrospective testimony, but no public 1969 statement, tower recording, flight log, raw radar plot, photograph or film has been found. Later claims about extreme speed, a strong headwind and a same-minute sighting near Vaasa cannot be reconstructed from public technical records. The case is historically important but remains disputed rather than verified as extraordinary.
