Kumburgaz UFO videosThe Kumburgaz record is a series, not one continuous encounter. In January 2008, Yalman and Sirius UFO centre director Haktan Akdoğan publicly presented about 22 minutes said to have been recorded in June, July and August 2007. A TÜBİTAK National Observatory preliminary review later described a 35-minute MiniDV cassette supplied by ATV editor Tolga Özdeniz, identified a Canon GL1 and NTSC recording, and found no obvious computer animation, special effect or studio reconstruction in sampled passages. That narrow finding did not authenticate the depicted objects: the report stressed inconsistent AM/PM time displays, missing reference objects, and the inability to determine location, distance, size or nature. Later batches were attributed to 2008 and to 13, 15 and 17 May 2009, but no public inventory ties every circulating clip to an original cassette and continuous custody record. Distant ship superstructure, maritime lights, atmospheric refraction and camera/zoom artifacts remain plausible classes of explanation; none has been demonstrated for every segment. The case is therefore disputed video evidence, not proof of occupants or extraterrestrial craft.
