Italy's Centro Ufologico Nazionale published an analytical report on material in the fifth PURSUE release, with its article updated on September 14. The review focuses on an intelligence report about infrared detections by an AC-130J over the Gulf of Oman in 2021 and an FBI interview describing a large triangular object above Bagram in 2002.
The center treats the released documents as raw official records rather than final findings. Its report calls for cross-checking operational logs, weather, radar and sensor limitations. It lists drones, low-signature platforms, infrared artifacts, marine effects, flare debris and classified aircraft among the conventional possibilities requiring examination.
The report explicitly says the files do not demonstrate extraterrestrial technology, a confirmed unknown origin or a hostile threat. Its value lies in organizing questions for follow-up; the underlying witness and intelligence records still require corroboration before stronger conclusions can be drawn.
