UK National Archives transcript explains most 1993 Cosford reports as rocket re-entry

The archive transcript says more than 30 sightings were reported over six hours and that most were later associated with the re-entry of the Russian rocket that launched Cosmos 2238.

The National Archives describes a full Ministry of Defence file on the 31 March 1993 flap, including police and military reports and an unsuccessful radar-tape check for anything unusual.

It directly connects the public case narrative to the government archive and records the principal conventional explanation.

The transcript says the re-entry explained the majority of reports, not necessarily every observation. It is a public summary rather than the entire underlying file.
