Former UAP Task Force director Jay Stratton discussed his government investigations in a Fox interview published on October 13, as his memoir Out of the Shadows reached publication. Fox's accompanying radio release described a 16-year investigative career and said the discussion covered reported encounters near nuclear facilities, alleged reverse engineering and demands for transparency.

HarperCollins' bibliographic listing dates the 336-page book to October 13. Its promotional description presents Stratton's version of UAP programmes and an alleged long-running concealment of non-human intelligence. Those are the author's and publisher's claims, not findings established by the book's release. Americans for Safe Aerospace separately identifies him as a former Office of Naval Intelligence senior executive and the first UAP Task Force director.

The publication adds a named former official's account to the public debate, but the interview page and publishing record do not supply independently testable material establishing non-human technology. His documented job history and the truth of particular allegations are separate questions. The interview is available through Fox's original video page, while the publisher-supplied book record establishes the release details.
