What the video shows

Witness description
Daniel Orloff's September 8 article places the recording in Dos de Mayo, Misiones, at 21:07:05 on September 7, looking toward Ruiz de Montoya. It identifies a Sony A7 IV with a 50 mm lens and describes lights near what the author identifies as Venus. Those details come from the publisher, not independent measurements.

The author estimates altitude and distance from brightness, optics and terrain, and claims acceleration from image tracking. Brightness alone does not uniquely determine distance, and tracking requires reliable camera-motion correction and object identification. Stars or planets, satellites, distant aircraft, drones and optical effects require further testing. The article's rejection of several conventional explanations is not independently reproduced.
