Infrared target partly occluded in DOW-UAP-PR136

A 2023 Middle East infrared clip follows a small contrast source while part of the military platform repeatedly obscures the sensor view.

What the video shows

For the first eight seconds the sensor pans to track a small source. A platform component crosses the view; the sensor then zooms and a reticle briefly surrounds the target before further occlusion. The interruptions and absent range data limit motion analysis.

Witness description

The public release identifies the submitting military command but does not provide a named observer interview. No independent witness account is available in the published package.

Source and provenance

DVIDS posted DOW-UAP-PR136 on August 7, 2026, at https://www.dvidshub.net/video/1017796/dow-uap-pr136-unresolved-uap-report-middle-east-2023. The official platform media ID is 1017796 and the DoD file ID is DOD_111887413. This page serves a complete local copy at /sighting-videos/dow-pr136-middle-east-infrared-track-2023.mp4 and a localized frame from that video.

Evidence notes

The official source and media ID establish provenance, but the public clip lacks native telemetry, range, sensor settings and a complete incident narrative. Apparent motion cannot be converted into object speed from the video alone.

Possible explanations

Distant aircraft, drone, balloon, sensor artifact, parallax or another ordinary airborne source remain possible. The public record does not support a specific extraordinary origin.

Verification notes

Verified as an official AARO/DVIDS release; unresolved in the public file and rated credibility B for provenance, not for extraordinary performance.
