FBI-UAP-PR003 presents a 2024 northeastern U.S. sighting in which a light source was reported hovering above a pond for about 45 minutes.
What the video shows
The video shows a luminous source below the horizon above a pond. The release describes the object as a plasma-like sphere that changed shape and luminosity and sometimes appeared to separate into smaller points of light.
Witness description
The witness reported the event at about 1851 local time, estimated the object at roughly 2,700 feet away and said no sound was heard. The release adds that a lower luminous point hovered just above the water and did not appear consistent with a surface reflection.
Source and provenance
DVIDS published the video as FBI-UAP-PR003. The release says the footage was captured by a private citizen on an iPhone, analyzed and authenticated by the U.S. Government, then cropped only to protect privacy.
