Manchester light video matches an International Space Station pass
A bright light filmed near the Manchester-Hooksett border was initially reported as unidentified, but timing and path data closely match an International Space Station pass.
What the video shows
The 27.63-second vertical phone video follows a bright unresolved point above a dark tree line. Digital zoom and hand movement make the point wobble within the frame. Its white light breaks into shifting red, green and blue pixels when enlarged, a common combination of sensor processing, defocus and atmospheric scintillation near the horizon. No structured body or abrupt maneuver is visible.
Witness description
The poster reported seeing the light at 10:35 p.m. on July 15 near the North Manchester-Hooksett border, moving east-northeast. The witness said it looked white to the eye, appeared multicolored only on the phone and made no obvious sound. The poster estimated high speed from tree-line references but acknowledged that no measured azimuth or range was available.
Source and provenance
The first-person r/UFOs post 1uykahk was published July 17, 2026. Its Reddit video uses media ID mzdn5qz3podh1. The complete 27.63-second source was downloaded, converted to a web-ready local MP4 and fully decoded without error. The discussion preserves an ISS-pass link and a separate Sitrec reconstruction.
Evidence notes
Heavens-Above data cited in the source discussion place the ISS over Manchester from about 10:31 to 10:36 p.m. on July 15. That interval contains the reported 10:35 recording, and the low-horizon track is consistent with the stated east-northeast direction. The witness later said the ISS explanation was sufficient. Exact phone metadata and camera bearing remain unavailable, but the timing match is strong.
Possible explanations
The International Space Station is the leading and likely sufficient explanation. Its brightness, smooth motion, silence and predicted pass time fit the recording. Atmospheric scintillation and phone-camera processing explain the colored pixels. A drone or aircraft is less consistent with the exact ISS timing and smooth unresolved track, while the video shows no anomalous performance.
Verification notes
Original post and complete video localized; claimed time and area are documented and independently matched to an ISS pass, with the witness accepting that identification. The precise camera position and raw phone file are not public.
