Bright white light filmed moving steadily over Montreal
A Montreal witness preserved a 14-second phone video of a bright white light crossing the night sky after reporting that it had changed direction before recording began.
What the video shows
The 14.33-second landscape video shows one overexposed white point moving on a generally straight path above dark trees and nearby foliage. The camera pans to follow it. The target remains too small and saturated to resolve a sphere, surface detail, navigation lights or propulsion. No abrupt turn, acceleration or disappearance is visible in the recorded interval.
Witness description
The verified reporter said the light was silent and appeared to make a U-turn before the phone recording started, then moved in a straight line during the captured segment. The witness described it as graceful and intentional, but the available video preserves only the later straight-path portion of that account.

A bright satellite, including the International Space Station or another low-Earth-orbit object, remains plausible because the recorded motion is smooth, silent and straight. An aircraft seen nearly head-on is another possibility, while the footage provides no positive evidence for an extraordinary craft.
