What the video shows
Several separate luminous points move through a dark patch below low clouds. Their spacing changes continuously, and some points briefly brighten or disappear as the camera pans.
Witness description
The reporter said the display lasted about ten minutes near San Antonio at 9:44 p.m. on September 11 and appeared silent. Only short phone clips were supplied, so the full duration and claimed direction changes are not continuously documented.
Source and provenance
Report 12974 provides two H.264/AAC clips. The complete 23-second primary file is preserved locally; the separate 11-second clip was reviewed. Neither file supplies geolocation metadata or an unbroken ten-minute record.
Evidence notes
The points do not behave as lights fixed to one rigid object. With no stars, horizon or range data, camera motion and wind-driven movement cannot be separated quantitatively.
Possible explanations
Birds reflecting city light beneath low clouds fit the changing formation and intermittent brightness. Balloons or lightweight airborne debris are alternatives; no extraordinary acceleration is measurable.
