What the video shows
The first clip establishes the road and ridgeline context. In the second, two white points are visible above the hills; the camera zooms and reframes, and only one point remains before it also disappears. No rapid acceleration or structured object is resolved.
Witness description
The submitter said the lights looked like stationary glowing balls. According to the report, one disappeared and briefly returned before recording began, while the two published clips capture the later sequence. No independent witness statement is attached.

The archive preserved two untouched iPhone 16e MOV files and linked the verified Reddit submission by u/Perfect_play_5263. This page concatenates complete local transcodes of both files; the public archive randomizes GPS coordinates for privacy.
Evidence notes
The original-device files and landscape references support provenance, but there is no range, compass bearing, optical calibration or second viewpoint. The apparent disappearance may reflect changing illumination, occlusion, focus or exposure rather than object motion.
Possible explanations
Sunlit balloons, distant aircraft, satellites near twilight and ordinary lights intermittently hidden by terrain or cloud remain plausible. The video does not distinguish among them.
